CNN Discover Snapchat
As more users migrate to social media as their main platform of News Engagement, CNN must reposition their brand to stay relevant while also tapping into the growing active political population.
│Goal: Increase Engagement rate from 5.7% by a margin of at least thirty points. │ Snapchat is a mobile-only platform for mobile-first millennial audiences. It is video-centric and currently generates over 7 billion video starts per day. Because of this, Snapchat attracts a mobile audience of an estimated 200 million monthly unique globally with more than half of CNN’s Snapchat audience being outside of the U.S.
│Result: Engagement Rate increased from average 5.7% per post to 68% per post.│ In order to engage the young audience for CNN Discover Snapchat, we believe that the design should be modern, fresh, and relevant. Our team organized the conception and execution of compelling daily editions of CNN Discover Snapchat with animated illustrations and live audio.
